Finally, if there is a Windows program a lawyer just can’t live without, the new Macs can boot up as a Windows machine using the free Bootcamp software included in the Mac operating system or using either a program called Parallels or one called Fusionware to run Windows programs side by side with Mac programs.
Trial presentation: A Mac will automatically recognize a projector plugged into it. With two clicks it will configure the projector as an extended desktop, meaning anything dragged off the screen to the left (or right if you choose) will be displayed on the projector.
This means at trial, once a lawyer introduces Exhibit No. 7 into evidence, all she has to do is click on the exhibits tab, double-click on the Exhibit No. 7 miniature and drag it off the screen.
